The Gretsch USA Custom Snare 14"x8" Satin Natural follows directly in the tradition of the legendary Round Badge series of the 1950s and has embodied the unmistakable “Great Gretsch Sound” for decades. Its 6-ply maple/gum shell combines warmth, projection, and an exceptionally wide dynamic range from delicate ghost notes to powerful rimshots. The classic 30° bearing edge promotes a fast attack and delivers a balanced sustain.

Silver Sealer on the inside

On the inside, the signature Silver Sealer finish seals the shell and plays a key role in producing a focused, controlled tone. The 4 mm die-cast hoops add precision and enhance rimshot articulation, while the Lightning throw-off enables smooth, responsive snare adjustment. The drum is completed with premium Remo or Permatone heads and an elegant Satin Natural finish with hand-rubbed nitrocellulose lacquer.
