Manufactured in St. Wendel, Germany, HK Audio's 18" woofer bass reflex subwoofer provides an exceptionally efficient, modular and cost-effective sound reinforcement solution for large and long rooms. Ample headroom, a maximum sound pressure level of 131 dB and noticeably powerful bass response throughout the low frequency range down to 33 Hz make HK Audio's 118 Sub HPA the most powerful subwoofer in the LINEAR 5 MK II series. It is the optimal foundation for LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA systems. All other LINEAR 5 MK II mid/high units benefit from more low-end.

Presets selectable directly on the speaker facilitate cardioid operation. The rear attenuation is up to 34 dB, while the front radiation experiences a slight boost and about 2 dB. The light weight of the robust birch multiplex enclosure and the compact dimensions, together with the HK Audio MultiGrips, simplify handling and transport. DSP CONTROL software for Mac and PC enables precise sound tuning, allowing users to customize their audio experience. DSP Out allows integration with non-DSP speakers, greatly expanding the system's flexibility and customizability. Digital limiter technology reduces distortion and distortion, so the sound is always clear and precise, even at higher volumes.

The rugged birch multiplex cabinet is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also durable and reliable, providing dependable protection for the advanced technology inside.
