This Hagstrom Viking Deluxe represents the professional class of the popular Swedish Semi-Hollows and combines the sound image desired for its flexibility between creamy Jazz sounds and rough Rock leads with a timelessly elegant appearance. Now for a short time the Viking Deluxe limited edition 2016 is available in emerald green Metallic finish including Ivory binding and coil split circuit of the Super Viking models.

Smooth until Brown Sound : Hagstrom HJ-50 Humbucker

The secret of the enormously versatile usability of the Viking Deluxe maple lies in the interaction between the proven maple construction and the self-developed HJ-50 pickup. The pickups equipped with Alnico magnets provide the harmonious balance for wide and powerful, yet articulative and dynamic sounds. Last but not least, the coil split circuit taken over from the Super Viking enables crystal-clear cleans in neck and bridge position via the tone potentiometers.
