The secret of the enormously versatile usability of the Viking Deluxe maple lies in the interaction between the proven maple construction and the self-developed HJ-50 pickup. The pickups equipped with Alnico magnets provide the harmonious balance for wide and powerful, yet articulative and dynamic sounds. Last but not least, the coil split circuit taken over from the Super Viking enables crystal-clear cleans in neck and bridge position via the tone potentiometers.
