The Hohner Big River Harp MS is a reasonably priced harmonica with a robust plastic comb. The Big River Harp MS has brass reed plates with reeds made of a high-quality alloy. The harmonica impresses with its high quality and excellent response.

It is particularly suitable as a melody instrument for beginners. Its sound is suitable for musical genres such as blues, rock, country and folk music. It is also possible to bend and overblow certain notes.

Very good playability thanks to the modular system

The plastic comb and brass reed plates are combined in the proven "sandwich construction" of the Big River Harp MS and produce a powerful sound. The abbreviation "MS" stands for the "Modular System", a holistic concept for harmonica design from Hohner. MS harmonicas benefit from innovations that not only improve the playing characteristics but also make maintenance and handling much easier. All MS components (comb, reedplates and covers) can be individually combined with each other. Simple screw connections enable uncomplicated assembly.
