Four string electric bass with Delano Xtender pickup and active electronics, including gig bag
The Human Base Roxy B4 Transparent Black from Waldems is a straightforward yet versatile four-string bass that impresses with flawless craftsmanship, high-quality features, and comfortable playability. The lightweight body is made of swamp ash, while the six-bolt neck is crafted from maple. Thanks to its flat "C" profile and contoured neck pocket, smooth grooves and fast runs across the full 24-fret rosewood fingerboard come effortlessly. At the heart of its sound is the Delano The Xtender pickup, positioned perfectly in an eye-catching oval housing to deliver a powerful yet detailed tone. A mini-switch on the pickguard lets you switch the pickup coils between series wiring for a punchy sound or parallel wiring for a more open, airy tone. For precise tonal shaping, the bass features an active 3-band EQ. Rounding out the package, the Human Base Roxy B4 Transparent Black comes equipped with an ETS Tuning fork bass bridge and precise Kluson bass machine heads, ensuring tuning stability and reliability.

Delivery took a month to Qatar. DHL gave it to QatarPost. I made a typo in PO Box and QatarPost delivered to that PO Box. Luckily I found tel number connected to this PO Box in Google and finally found my parcel. Otherwise nor a QatarPost neither DHL did not help saying it was delivered already. Also the outer box looked like someone was jumping on it. Despite all bad experiences with delivery and long waiting time the instrument is very good quality. Straight neck, no sharp frets. The weight more on heavy side. High quality bridge. Very clean preamp, almost zero hiss. Plenty of sounds with eq and series/parallel/passive. Passive switch does not change the volume and very quiet. For those who thinks it’s a stingray - it’s not due different preamp and pick-up, but very close. Came with good set up, done by musicstore (thank you) and nice gig bag way better quality than my fender one. It is still intune after 1 month of travelling! Opened the box and started playing! So far I’m very happy with this bass.
This is a great quallity instrument much better than my Ray34 that I bought last year. Has very nice quallity and electronics on it and special detail on the craftsmanship.
I suggest this bass if you like the more modern sound of P and a Stingray, actually you can play whatever you like!
