Due to its grand dreadnought design, the AAD190CE-OPN has a particularly large body that produces a very assertive sound due to its voluminous soundbox. The X-M bracing used here ensures excellent vibration behavior, while the open-pored finish guarantees an almost attack with long-lasting tone.
The Nyatho neck with comfortable low-oval grip and oval fretboard fits extremely well in the hand and meets all the requirements for flatpicking and strumming with its nut width of 43 mm. The tortoise pickguard also prevents material damage when playing with plectrums. A compensated bone saddle, meanwhile, ensures a flat string action that makes picking significantly easier, while a convenient cutaway allows easy access to the higher registers.
