The Ibanez AS153-JBB Artstar Hollow Body Jet Blue Burst is a 6-string electric guitar featuring a maple body, a mahogany/maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, and a jet blue burst finish. The Artstar model represents Jazz and hollow-body styles. The Ebony fretboard with Artstar fret edge treatment provides a tight response and smooth left-hand fingering. The ART-1 bridge provides improved sustain and tuning stability whilst the Quik Change III tailpiece enables faster and easier string changing. A bone nut offers a richer tone from low to high.

Equipped with Super 58 humbucker pickups, this guitar delivers smooth, nuanced tones and biting blues growl. The Tri-Sound switch for the neck pickup allows you to select Humbucker in series (traditional), parallel (brighter, single coil type tone with lower output and hum cancellation) or coil-tapping for a single coil sound.
