Based on the well-known AZ design, the classically styled electric guitar offers not only excellent playing characteristics but also a flexible sound of classic character. While the alder body and the toasted "AZ Oval C" maple neck create optimal conditions for implementing adept playing techniques, three Seymour Duncan Fortuna single coils and a smart Blender circuit provide for multifaceted guitar sounds between glassy Clean and rich overdrive. Of course, Ibanez completes the LM1 Luca Mantovanelli Signature guitar with top-class attachments in the form of a smoothly responding Gotoh T1702B 2-point tremolo and tuning stable Gotoh MG-T Locking tuners.

As a member of the AZ family that has become a modern classic, the Ibanez LM1 naturally impresses with excellent playing characteristics that suit Luca Mantovanelli's virtuoso playing style. The ergonomically designed AZ body made of alder wood not only promises a perfectly balanced playing position both on the strap and on the thigh, but also creates a flowing connection to the bolt-on neck made of S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple with the Super All Access Neck Joint. This, with the slim "AZ Oval C" profile and the compound radius of the rosewood fingerboard, creates the best conditions for fluidly implementing even the most accomplished playing techniques. While the stainless steel fretting in jumbo format allows bendings to glide as if on rails, fluorescent Luminlay dots in the fretboard flank guarantee the safe hitting of notes even on dark stages.

As pickup for his Ibanez LM1 Signature guitar Luca Mantovanelli chooses three Fortuna Single Coils of the Californian market leader Seymour Duncan. Optimally tuned to the tonal needs of accomplished guitarists with a modern zeitgeist, the single coils not only impress with a moderate Output and accurate imaging of even the most subtle details in playing technique, but also with a special balance between sonorous basses and brilliant but never harsh highs. Thanks to the sophisticated Blender circuit, the LM1 electric guitar also impresses with an enormous sound variety for top-class cleans and overdrives. While the 5-way blade switch calls up the Fortuna single coils in the familiar configurations, the Blend control allows the neck and bridge pickups to be blended in switch positions 1, 2, 4 and 5, and otherwise unattainable interconnections of the neck and bridge pickups and all three pickups to be achieved. General volume and tone controls also allow precise adjustment of timbre.

Gotoh MG-T Locking Tuners keep the Luca Mantovanelli Signature guitar securely in the correct tuning even with frequent reaches to the whammy bar.
