Bolt-on construction with fine woods
The basis of the Ibanez Premium SR1305SB-MGL is an elaborate bolt-on construction with fine woods, which promises comfortable playing characteristics and finely articulated sounds. While the African mahogany body supports a three-piece top made of sandblasted ash andpanga-panga, the bolt-on neck uses not only panga-panga and amaranth, but also reinforcing titanium rods. Thanks to the slim Atlas 5 profile, the Bass also offers comfortable handling for fast runs and slaps.
Nordstrand Pickups and Active EQ
Featuring two Nordstrand Big Break pickups with a split-coil design under the soapbar caps, Ibanez's SR1305SB-MGL delivers aggressive and full bass tones on the bass amp that accurately portray playing details despite the enormous power. To customize the tone, the E-Bass is also equipped with an active 3-band tone control. Last but not least, Ibanez MR5S mono rail bridges and Gotoh tuners complete the Premium SR1305SB-MGL Magic Wave Low Gloss by Ibanez.
