The Ibanez Talman TCY10E-BK Black acoustic guitar convinces with its outstanding functionality and its extraordinary design.

Pickup

An in-house AEQ200T pickup system allows for flexible use in the rehearsal room as well as on stage, as it also amplifies the acoustic sound of the instrument in a very natural way.

Woods and construction

The compact, laminated body consists of a spruce top, which produces strong mid and treble frequencies and harmonizes with the warm touch of the mahogany body. Especially for beginners, the flat mahogany neck with a jatoba fingerboard is perfect, because in combination with a scale length of 648 mm and a narrow nut width of 42 mm, it is extremely accommodating and easy to finger all 20 frets, which are easy to reach thanks to a generous cutaway.

Hardware

In addition, chrome-plated die-cast tuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which intonate cleanly thanks to a compensated bridge inlay. The Ibanez Talman TCY10E-BK Black acoustic guitar is rounded off with a noble high-gloss finish.

Nice Guitar

Was looking for an acoustic that was easier to play live and in my practice chair than my dreadnought. I'm an electric player most of the time so I find it a bit cumbersome. The Talman appealed to me because of its size, looks and I can't lie that the price was great for what it is too. For my purposes, it's perfect. It's small and manageable while standing up so I can treat it a bit more like my electric but more importantly, I can play it without amplification. It's got a nice tone and flavour and in some respects sounds a little nicer than my other acoustic beast. Delivery from DV24/7 was quick and the guitar arrived well protected and ready for action. Many thanks.

Action could be better

I love the look, tone, weight. The neck is nice , good heads etc however I find the action a tad hard work after fret4, the truss rod is as tight as it will go so no joy there and I would rather not be messing with the saddle, all that said it is still great value for money!
