Despite its attractive price, the J & D LS500 offers the authentic set-neck construction with 24.75" scale length (628 mm), which includes a mahogany body with maple top and the glued mahogany neck to achieve the traditional, richly pushing Singlecut sound with a long Sustain. The pleasantly rounded C-neck profile with 43 mm nut width and 22.5 mm thickness at the first fret also promises ideal conditions for easy implementation of classic blues and rock playing techniques on the composite fingerboard.
Two J & D humbuckers with chrome-plated caps and the traditional circuit with separate volume and tone pots for each pickup promise a variety of bluesy and rocky sounds.
