American Series SL2 DX HT: Classic Soloist construction
The SL2 DX HT features the iconic Speed Neck, running from the 6-in-line headstock to the rear strap pin, constructed from three pieces of maple for stability and resonance. A glued ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and a compound radius from 12" to 16" ensures comfortable playability across the entire neck. The alder body wings are finished in elegant satin Porsche Gray, completing the classic Soloist look.
Seymour Duncan '59 & JB
Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1 ’59 neck humbucker and an SH-4 JB bridge humbucker, this combination is a favorite among hard rock and metal players. The JB bridge pickup delivers high-output, punchy tones, while the ’59 neck pickup provides warm cleans and sustained lead tones. Both US-made pickups are controlled via a five-way selector switch, with shared volume and tone controls for versatile sound shaping.
