Thanks to its balanced (symmetrical) signal routing, tight conductor stranding, and an extremely dense copper spiral shield, the MY206 provides reliable protection against external interference. This ensures clean, distortion-free signal transmission—even over longer distances. The jacket, made from a rubber-like special PVC compound, is both durable and flexible, performing reliably even under extreme temperature conditions.

What does balanced signal transmission mean?

Balanced cables contain two signal-carrying conductors transmitting the same audio signal in mirror-inverted polarity. When external interference occurs, it affects both conductors equally. Since the useful signal is transmitted with opposite voltages, the interference is cancelled out by phase inversion at the receiving end. This results in clear, interference-free audio, even across extended cable runs.
