The EM-105 Bauhaus from LA Circuits is an analog oscillator with variable waveforms and a powerful, British sound. The beautifully designed tone generator is visually and functionally unmistakably based on the British EMS synthesizers of the 70s. The large Vernier potentiometer allows fine frequency adjustments, due to its special design. It takes 10 turns to go completely through the frequency range selected with Range. To avoid unintentional changes the knob can be locked. The Bauhaus oscillator has only three waveform outputs, but they are very variable: Square has its own control to adjust the pulse width. The second socket delivers sawtooth when set to the left, triangle is heard in the middle position and when set to the right the waveform changes to ramp. The symmetry of the sine wave can be adjusted. There is a separate CV input for each waveform type, but the one for sine is accessed via Saw/Triangle output.
