The RAY from Lewitt is a true condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. This polar pattern ensures that only sound waves that hit the diaphragm from the front are picked up. Everything that happens behind the microphone is generously attenuated. Mute by Distance
The RAY's Mute by Distance function allows you to set a specific distance from the microphone, after which the microphone volume is automatically reduced or muted completely as soon as the User exceeds this distance. This minimizes the detection of unwanted noise and ensures clear and precise audio recording. If the User then reduces the distance to the microphone, the signal is automatically reactivated and the recording continues.
