Instead of resting on the famous Ludwig Sound over and over again, the luxury forge from the U.S.A. has decided to send a new sound scheme into the ring and expand the Ludwig identity by a spectrum: KEYSTONE X!

The classic Ludwig Maple layers are covered with American Red Oak on the inside and outside for the Keystone X series. This special oak wood gives the boilers a kind of equalizer by focusing and above all articulating the sound. Furthermore, the special construction creates a voluminous, powerful sound with the extra portion of Attack. Additional resonance is provided by the 45° ridges in the middle, on which the batter head fits perfectly.
