Mapex drum kit with hybrid shells and halo mounting system
The Mapex SE628XMBPG Saturn Evolution Maple Gun Metal Grey is a five-piece shell set with hybrid maple and walnut shells. It is factory fitted with Remo heads and Black Brushed Hardware.
The innovative Halo Mounting System, which is installed on both Saturn Evolution rack toms, enables an incomparably resonant basic sound. This side-mounted isolation mount uses a suspension system under the lugs, allowing each shell on the Saturn Evolution drum kit to realize its full sound potential.
Hybrid shells with adapted shell thickness and Design-Lab features
The Maple/Walnut Hybrid Shells consist of eight layers whose thickness has been adapted to the diameter of the drum. Proven features such as Mapex SONIClear™ Bearing Edges, Mapex Sonic Saver Hoops and heads from Remo are of course also available in the Mapex Saturn Evolution series. The drum kit also impresses with various Design Lab features such as Air Flow Venting and Sonic Pedestal Floor Tom Feet.
