The Marshall Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Half Stack at a glance
The Marshall Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Half Stack celebrates 60 years of collaboration with the most famous Marshall endorser in electric guitar history. Hardly anyone shaped the sound of the last century as much as the guitarist, who died far too early and inspired entire generations of guitarists with his sound. In a strictly limited edition, the combination of his Marshall 1959 Handwired top, a matching 1960AHW speaker cabinet and his Dunlop JMH-1 Fuzz Face is now available in a unique psychedelic special design in black and purple.
Marshall 1959HWJMH Head
The head of the Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Halfstack corresponds to the classic design specifications of the 1959HW Handwired Head and offers a proud 100 watts, which it draws from its four EL34 power amplifier tubes. Naturally, the amplifier has a two-channel design in line with the historical model and has two separate connections per channel, which can be bridged in the classic way using a patch cable for the unmistakable Hendrix sound. The unique appointments of the limited edition include purple knobs matching the Tolex design and a Jimi Hendrix eye badge in the top left corner of the front panel.
Marshall 1960AHW Cabinet
The Anniversary Half Stack offers a Marshall 1960AHW Handwired Cabinet as a sonic and visual complement to the 1959HW head. With four 12" Celestion G12H 30 speakers, the cabinet can handle 120 watts of power and produces the characteristic Marshall crunch that made Jimi famous worldwide. As a special highlight for absolute Hendrix fans, the limited edition of the cabinet features a Jimi Hendrix eye patch and a front panel in the unique psychedelic Black & purple look.
Dunlop JMH-1 Fuzz Face
The Dunlop Fuzz Face, introduced in 1966, also had a significant influence on Jimi's groundbreaking sound and caused an absolute sensation at his legendary gigs such as the Isle or Wright Festival. The pedal enjoys absolute legendary status for good reason and is still celebrated today for its raw, brute fuzz sound. Matching the head and cabinet, the special edition of the JMH-1 Fuzz Face also has a special case with strictly limited artwork, which is naturally only available as part of the Marshall Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Half Stack.
