The Mayones Ori 5 Gunmetal Grey electric bass combines an exceptional body design with a powerful and expressive sound delivered by three Mayones Velvetrone Grim VF humbuckers. The ash body is paired with a bolt on wenge neck fitted with a matching wenge fingerboard. Thanks to the asymmetrical neck profile, 24 frets and a 9.5 inch fingerboard radius, the bass remains comfortable to play even during complex riffs and fast passages. The multiscale layout from 34 inches to 37 inches, which corresponds to 863-939 mm, provides a firm and articulate low end, clear harmonic content and stable intonation for the standard low B or for lower tunings. The three Mayones Velvetrone Grim VF humbuckers offer a wide tonal palette ranging from warm vintage character to aggressive modern drive. These sounds are shaped through a six way rotary switch and flexible active or passive electronics with bass, treble and midrange controls. High quality hardware, including the Mayones Kissaki aluminum V fret bridge, Graphtech Ratio tuners and the elegant gunmetal grey finish, completes the Ori 5 as a professional high end instrument for both stage and studio use.
