Multiscale Neck-Through Bass

In addition to the sustain-strong neck-through construction, Mayones uses the multiscale construction for the Patriot 5 VF. Each of the strings has the optimal scale length for its tuning, rising from 34" at the G to 37" at the B, guaranteeing a particularly precise sound. While the full-length, five-piece D neck made of wenge and Purpleheart offers great playability, the wenge-trimmed maple top on the swamp ash body produces a dignified look.
