John Taylor made his mark on the international music scene with Duran Duran in the late 1970s and 1980s, particularly with their platinum-selling album Rio released in 1982. The band helped shape the early musical landscape with a stylistic range that spanned pop, rock, and synth-pop, paving the way for the New Wave genre. This multiscale electric bass with a nyatoh body and pau ferro fingerboard stands out for its elegant design and exceptional tone, driven by FD3n pickups. It comes with a matching gigbag for safe and stylish transportation.

The innovative multiscale design offers scale lengths from 34" to 37", enhancing both playability and tonal balance. FD3N pickups with active Rupert Neve preamp circuitry

At the heart of the John Taylor Signature Bass are three FD3n pickups, which deliver a crisp sound and are directly linked to the Quad Tone pickup control, which can be used to control a total of four positions: 1: Bridge Solo, 2: Bridge/Middle Series, 3: Bridge/Neck Parallel and 4: Neck Solo. In addition, the pickups are wired directly to the master volume and master tone controls as well as the active 2-band EQ, which is fed by the Rupert Neve Design circuitry. Furthermore, the E-Bass is equipped with a "Minimalist" Custom Dingwall 1-piece recessed bridge and lightweighted open-gear tuners.
