The Spector NS Ethos HP 5 Gunmetal Gloss at a glance
The Spector NS Ethos HP 5 represents the slim design from Spector, which has stood for modern bass sounds and ergonomic playability for decades. To achieve this, Spector relies on a particularly resonant neck-thru design made from three strips of maple with curved body wings made from solid alder. The two active EMG 40DC pickups ensure a powerful and multi-faceted sound image, eliciting powerful sounds from the NS Ethos HP. The two pickups are controlled via Darkglass Tone Capsule electronics, which are also active. In addition to the volume and blend controls, there are additional options for shaping the sound in terms of bass, mids and high mids. Other features of the Spector NS Ethos HP include a solid Hi-Mass Locking bridge and four solid die-cast tuners in a uniform black look.
