Mellotron Mellotron Micro Black Synthesizer

The Mellotron Micro is a sample-based synthesizer. It is the smallest version of the Mellotron, a faithful replica of the original Mellotron, a keyboard instrument that had one tape with samples per key. The replica now available produces the sound digitally and has 100 sounds of the Mellotron and also the Chamberlin. It is played via a touch-sensitive semi-weighted keyboard that covers two octaves. The current Mellotron Company has digitized the original tapes of all instrument recordings and used them in the new Mellotron. It also features the sounds of the Chamberlin, an instrument that worked in a similar way to the Mellotron.
