2-channel amplifier with traditional vintage voicing
With the MESA BOOGIE Fillmore 100 series, the renowned amp builder from Petaluma, California presents classically designed amplifiers with an unmistakably vintage inspired voice. Two identical channels equipped with innovative three mode Channel Cloning technology deliver the full spectrum of tones, ranging from sparkling cleans to saturated soft clipping drive textures and expressive high gain sounds. The Mesa Fillmore also features a selectable power reduction to thirty watts for lower volume levels and an earlier breakup point, while the authentic tube driven spring reverb can be adjusted separately for each channel.
100/50 watt power switch & spring reverb
If you want to take control of the Fillmore 100 breakup point at more manageable volumes, the power switch on the left side of the front panel is your tool of choice. It cuts the power amp output to fifty or thirty watts and changes the circuit to Class A B triode operation. This allows the four 6L6 tubes in the power section to produce rich and full bodied tones even at reduced levels. A traditional tube driven spring reverb, well known from classic vintage amplifiers, is also included and offers separate controls for both channels.
Clean, Drive and high gain
The tonal foundation of the MESA Fillmore 100 consists of three distinct voicings that can be selected independently for each channel. In the clean mode, the preamp stays clear and open, providing plenty of headroom and making an excellent platform for pedal based setups. The Drive mode covers creamy soft clipping lead tones from blues and rock to juicy, ripping SRV inspired textures. In Hi mode, the Fillmore 100 taps into the full gain potential of its five 12AX7 tubes and delivers modern metal capable distortion that still carries the familiar low mid authority of classic Mesa designs.
