With the Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb 25 Combo, the amplifier manufacturer from Petaluma, California, packs the popular Mini Rectifier 25 together with a 12" speaker in a combo housing and adds a spring reverb to the tube amplifier. Accordingly, the combo amp impresses with its wide range of different timbres, ranging from crystal-clear clean sounds to powerful Distortion.
Each of the two channels of the Mesa Recto-Verb Combo has two sound modes and its own tone control.
The compact Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb 25 is ideal for rehearsal rooms, stages and living rooms.
Two channels and spring reverb
The preamp of the Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb 25 Combo is based on a total of six 12AX7 tubes and offers two channels with their own tone control, which cover a wide sound spectrum thanks to switchable sound modes. The compact guitar amplifier not only delivers crystal-clear clean sounds and creamy overdrive, but also brute distortion for modern rock and metal styles. Furthermore, the Mesa Recto-Verb is equipped with a long spring reverb system that gives the sound a three-dimensionality and can be controlled separately for each channel.
The Mesa Boogie Fillmore 75 speaker authentically reproduces the character of the amplifier.
Power amplifier with variable output and Mesa Fillmore speaker
The Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb Combo is also variable when it comes to the power amplifier. This draws 25 watts of power from two EL84 tubes, providing sufficient volume reserves for smaller gigs and the next band rehearsal. If required, the power for each channel can be reduced separately to 10 watts, so that nothing stands in the way of using the combo at home. The 12"Mesa Boogie Fillmore 75 speaker, which is manufactured by Eminence in the USA, delivers a warm, powerful sound that underlines the character of the amplifier.
The reverb controls for each channel, the effects loop and connections for footswitches and external speakers are located on the rear panel.
