Plucked String from Mosaic is a synthvoice module in a compact 1U format. The module is specialized in the emulation of string instruments and their physical behavior and achieves this with a combination of physical modeling and Karplus Strong synthesis. The sonic results are what you would expect from stringed instruments, but also range from wiry to metallic. For the parameters Strike, Decay & Pitch there are corresponding CV inputs, which makes the Synthvoice tonal playable and leads to great and lively results especially when modulating with BPM reference. For testing or listening Plucked String can be activated by a built-in trigger button, which is like the gate socket necessary to excite the digital circuitry, i.e. to make the strings vibrate.
