Alder body with buckeye burl top
The solid alder body in cutlass design is finished with a stunningly grained buckeye burl top and a bright green Kokiri Forest high-gloss finish. The roasted maple neck is bolted to this, which with its shallow carve and gunstock oil finish provides the perfect base for the thumb of the fretting hand and features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. The wide fingerboard radius of 15 inches ensures precise layering and controlled bends.
Music Man Custom humbucker and Custom preamp
Although the two Music Man HT Custom ceramic humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions are passive, the Music Man Jason Richardson Cutlass HT 7 Kokiri Forest features an active custom Preamp circuit. The push/push function of the volume control can be used to activate a boost for additional thrust in the amplifier preamp if required, while the tone control switches the pickups to coil split mode for airy, clear single-coil sounds. This means that the Jason Richardson Cutlass 7 is sonically adept and ready for almost any kind of fun.
