The (new!) Shades from Mutable Instruments is the revised version of the popular previous model. The circuit has been equipped with low-distortion op-amps, which allows for an even cleaner sound. In addition, each of the three channels has two LEDs that indicate the polarity and intensity of the applied signal. Shades has also been visually adapted to the new MI modules. The module combines a three-channel mixer, offset control, attenuator and fixed voltage generator in a compact space and is equally suitable for audio and CV signals. Since the inputs and outputs are normalized, you can not only use each channel for itself, but also send a signal with different levels (and offsets) to three different destinations or mix up to three inputs to one output the other way around. It should be noted that all connections are normalized from top to bottom. The fixed voltage generator produces freely adjustable voltages in the range of +/- 0-5 volts or 0-10 volts.
