For the Custom 24 Piezo Mahi Blue, PRS uses carefully selected tonewoods to achieve a perfect balance of beauty and sound. The body is made of resonantmahogany capped with a figuredmaple top and finished in a luminous light blue custom color. A glued mahogany neck with the slim Pattern Thin profile provides effortless playability and supports both classic and modern techniques. The rosewood fingerboard, adorned with PRS’s signature Bird inlays, ensures excellent orientation across all 24 frets.

PRS 85/15 humbucker and piezo system
The PRS Custom 24 Piezo is fitted with two PRS 85/15 humbuckers, designed by Paul Reed Smith himself to reflect more than 30 years of pickup expertise. These pickups deliver a remarkably clear, balanced tone that brings every note to life. Using the five way blade switch, the coils can be combined in several configurations, offering a wide range of sound variations. In addition, the piezo pickup system,co-developed with LR Baggs, provides authentic acoustic guitar tones. Two separate output jacks allow the magnetic and piezo signals to be routed independently to different amplifiers for maximum flexibility.
On the headstock of the PRS Custom 24 Piezo, PRS Phase III locking tuners provide stable and accurate tuning.
