The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow Lake Blue at a glance
The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow Lake Blue combines the tried and tested PRS feel with the unique character of the semi-hollow construction. The body of the S2 Special Semi-Hollow is made of mahogany and a maple top with an F-hole and provides a warm acoustic timbre. Glued to this is the mahogany neck with a 'pattern regular' profile, which is finished with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with iconic bird inlays. The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow draws its enormous tonal flexibility from its triple pickup configuration with additional switching options: two PRS 58/15 LT "Low Turns" humbuckers in the neck and bridge position can be switched separately to coil split mode via the two mini switches and are complemented by a PRS Narrowfield pickup in the middle position. Naturally, the instrument relies exclusively on in-house hardware solutions in the form of a PRS Patented Tremolo and six PRS Phase III locking tuners. including gig bag!
