The PRS S2 Studio Black Amber electric guitar is a true workhorse for living room, stage and recording sessions, offering versatile sound and functional features. The basic construction follows the classic PRS recipe, consisting of a mahogany body with a two-piece flamed maple top and a ‘Pattern Regular’ mahogany neck, while the pickup configuration delivers the right sound for every application. It features two PRS Narrowfield pickups in the neck and middle positions, complemented by a PRS 58/15 LT humbucker in the bridge position. The “LT” stands for “Low Turns” and refers to the reduced number of coil windings that give the humbucker its balanced output. Furthermore, the bridge pickup can be switched to coil-split mode using the push/pull function of the tone control, providing airy, clear single-coil sounds when required. The PRS S2 Studio Black Amber is rounded off by a PRS Patented Tremolo and six Phase III tuners with a practical locking function. Including gig bag!
