The electric guitar for left-handers from the SE series is composed of a mahogany body and a maple top with curly maple veneer, while the set maple neck with "Wide Thin" profile provides the right foundation for confident chord playing and carefree lead work. To offer the right sound for every genre, the SE Custom 24 Lefty relies on two calibrated 85/15 "S" humbuckers, which are known for their balanced sound and can be split if desired. Of course, the hardware equipment of the SE Custom 24 LefthandBlackGoldBurst is composed of innovative in-house parts in the form of a PRS Designed Tremolo and reliable die-cast tuners.
With two 85/15 "S" humbuckers, a Shallow Violin Carve Maple Top and Wide Thin Neck, the PRS SE Custom 24 Lefthand Black Gold Burst offers classic PRS feel.
The comfortable "Wide Thin" maple neck is glued to the mahogany body of the SE Custom 24 Lefthand.
Proven PRS construction
For the construction of the SE Custom 24 Lefthand naturally the proven PRS set-neck construction with 25" scale length (635 mm) is used, which combines lively sound characteristics with a high playability. While a beautiful mapleveneer and the natural binding on the mahogany body with maple top provide the typical PRS look, the glued "Wide Thin" maple neck promises first-class playing characteristics up to the highest registers. Of course, the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard carries the coveted Bird inlays.
Split PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers make the SE Custom 24 Lefty the ideal all-rounder for almost any style of music.
85/15 "S" Humbucker
At the guitar amp, the SE Custom 24 Lefty delivers the right sounds for almost any genre. Responsible for this is a calibrated set of the popular 85/15 "S" humbuckers, whose balanced sound with an ideal balance of powerful bass and radiant treble is ideally suited for soulful cleans and juicy Distortion. If desired, the pickups can be split via the push/pull switch in the tone control, so that glassy single-coil sounds enrich the sound repertoire. For control over the pickups is also a classic passive electrics with 3-way blade switch and general volume and tone controls.
The headstock of the SE Custom 24 Lefthand carries six PRS die-cast tuning machines with stable tuning.
PRS Designed Hardware
Last but not least, in-house PRS Designed Parts complete the equipment of the PRS SE Custom 24 LefthandBlackGold Burst. The established PRS Designed tremolo on the body not only convinces with a buttery smooth response to the tremolo lever, but also offers the hand a comfortable support for damping playing techniques due to the smooth surfaces. On the headstock, PRS Designed Die-Cast tuners also keep the guitar securely in tune even after frequent reaches for the tremolo lever.

PRS SE Custom 24 Lefthand Black Gold Burst B-Stock/Demo
The PRS SE range has to be some of the best value for money, out there. At this price point, definitely punching with the Fender player series. Craftsmanship is spot on and the guitar was setup out of the box. Size wise it sits in the middle between a strat and a Les Paul, which is perfect for me.
