Under the hood, the body is crafted from solid mahogany and paired with a maple top, while the grained laurel veneer gives the instrument a refined look, beautifully highlighted by the Tobacco Burst high-gloss nitro finish. The glued mahogany neck with a DGT profile ensures comfortable handling, and the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 10-inch radius provides a smooth, enjoyable playing experience. Smoked black hardware, including a classic PRS tremolo and PRS tuners, not only complements the Tobacco Burst finish but also ensures secure string positioning, precise intonation, and reliable tuning stability.

DGT "S" Humbucker
The sonic core of the PRS SE Exotic DGT McCarty Tobacco Burst is formed by DGT "S" humbuckers, renowned for their impressive tonal quality, making them ideal for styles from blues to rock. Inspired by the classic PAF tone, the pickups deliver an open tone that balances tight bass with controlled mids, providing expressive clean tones as well as warm, dynamic overdrive. A notable feature is the push/pull coil-tap function on the volume control, which allows the pickups to produce crisp, single-coil-like tone, adding extra treble nuance. The SE Exotic DGT stays true to the unmistakable PRS voice and, with its versatile electronics, is perfectly suited for the rehearsal room, studio, or stage.
