With the NXW 44-A, Italian manufacturer RCF expands its high-quality range with a column speaker designed from the ground up. This offers outstanding audio quality for bands, DJs, nightclubs and rental companies. The industry-leading combination of RCF premium transducers and a 2-channel, 2100-watt power amplifier ensures a consistent 100° x 50° coverage angle and a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB SPL. The power amplifier offers 50 percent more power than previous models. The power amplifier sits in the rear enclosure on a fixed heat exchanger with no moving parts.
The 2-way design includes three 10" neodymium woofers and a 3" compression driver on a CMD horn. With a new advanced transducer design, the three high power woofers provide greater stability, low distortion, fast transient response and better heat dissipation even at high current levels, while compression drivers provide greater transparency and improved current handling at lower weight. The industry-leading titanium dome and polyimide capton voice coil are extremely stable and low distortion. The horn's special Constant Matching design provides precise coverage of the listening area without the need to tilt the cabinet. The system offers an extended bass range up to 45 Hz and can be used as a stand-alone speaker, flown or with a distance rod. In combination with a subwoofer, the speaker provides full-range sound for mid-sized concerts and powerful DJ systems.
The NXW 44-A is ideal for mobile applications and professional fixed installations that require high performance in a compact size. The slim column design and flexible rigging options make it the first choice for a wide range of applications. The robust cabinet, made of high-quality birch plywood, is easily transportable and equipped with ergonomic handles on both sides. The speakers can be used separately, on a speaker pole or in combination with a subwoofer.
Flying or truss mounting is also possible via the integrated mounting points and the corresponding accessories. With its sturdy cabinet, textured finish and robust front grille, the NX 44-A is suitable for both fixed installations and intensive touring use.
The RCF NXW 44-A features precision-tuned FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP algorithms that ensure absolute transparency and extensive, powerful bass response. The sturdy, tour-ready cabinet made of high-quality birch plywood is easy to transport and securely installed thanks to the integrated mounting points.
