The RCF SUB 18-AS is a portable, powerful 18" active subwoofer designed specifically for demanding live sound environments. Equipped with a state-of-the-art transducer and a powerful 2,200 watt class D amplifier, the SUB 18-AS delivers impressive sound pressure levels of up to 135 dB with exceptional headroom and extremely fast response. Thanks to these features, the subwoofer guarantees a realistic and dynamic output even at the highest volumes.

The innovative design of the amplifier enables very efficient heat dissipation, eliminating the need for a cooling fan. The amplifier is directly connected to a solid aluminum heat exchanger in the rear part of the robust all-wood cabinet, which is also coated with a scratch-resistant polyurea coating. This design not only ensures a long service life and easy transportation, but also a robust and safe installation at events.

The SUB 18-AS is further characterized by a stereo input circuit with integrated crossover, designed with low distortion and an advanced safety limiter to preserve the true character of the input signal at all levels. These features make the SUB 18-AS the ideal partner for small to medium-sized venues and for applications where mobility and high sound quality are required.
