With Rave Distortion, Rave Generation delivers a versatile audio plugin inspired by legendary hardware devices such as distortion and overdrive pedals, synthesizer filters, EQs and mixing consoles. The plugin gives your sound analog warmth, strong character Drive and powerful distortion - perfect for electronic music, rock, industrial or experimental soundscapes.

Thanks to flexible filters, dual distortion stages and dynamic LFO integration, you can create rhythmic, tempo-synchronized modulations and add movement to your mixes.

What's new in version 2:

  • Wave Digital Filter Modeling & "Pultec Trick": Introduction of Wave Digital Filter Modeling for the Pultec EQP-1A section - including authentic low-frequency band and the famous "Pultec Trick".
  • Revised user interface & 30 parameters: Completely new interface with a total of 30 parameters for more precise and faster work.
  • Seven Saturation Characters: New 7 Saturation Characters (Tube, Soft, Transistor, Diode, Digital, Vintage, Modern), each with its own harmonic behavior.

Sound design at the highest level

Rave Distortion combines high-pass and low-pass filters with resonance and feedback capabilities to shape low frequencies or emphasize brilliant highs. Two separate distortion stages with dry/wet mix and post-gain give you full control over the amount of distortion - from subtle saturation to aggressive, punchy distortion sound.

The integrated LFO modulates filter frequencies for moving, pulsating sound textures. The advanced parameter control allows you to precisely adjust each frequency, set bandwidths and perfectly tune your sound to the Mix.
