The Roland AE-10G Aerophone is a wind transducer with saxophone fingering. Thanks to internal sound generation with SuperNATURAL modeling technology, 40 different sounds are offered, which can be integrated into many music genres. Built-in speakers and a power supply via batteries pave the way for mobile applications and for an uncomplicated integration into a DAW.

Sound diversity without limits, including string sounds.

The numerous timbres cover all saxophone models, from soprano to baritone, and wind instruments such as clarinet and trumpet. Even string and synth sounds can now be played using the familiar saxophone fingering, all of which have a finely resolved dynamic range and articulation, thanks to Roland's SuperNATURAL modeling technology. The Full Range function selects the appropriate model for each register of the notes played.

Wind sensor with traditional saxophone fingering

Many digital wind instruments available on the market require a completely different fingering, which many wind players find restrictive. The Roland AE-10G Aerophone is built like an acoustic saxophone, right down to the octave key for the left hand. In addition, the AE-10G's mouthpiece includes an extremely sensitive blow-on sensor that also allows you to bite the reed for vibrato techniques and to change the pitch. So even beginners will find their way around this instrument in no time.

Play along with your favourite songs stored on your smartphone.

For even more fun, connect your smartphone oder music player to the Aerophone AE-10G. Once connected to your AE-10G Aerophone via the stereo mini-jack, the sound is played through the built-in speakers oder and a connected Kopfhörer, so you can play along with your favorite songs.

Breath Controller for new expressive possibilities

The Roland AE-10G Aerophone is not only a stand-alone instrument, it also allows you to control external devices. Connected to a computer's USB port, it can control soft synthesizers and external MIDI modules via a DAW. And thanks to the blow control, completely new possibilities arise that a keyboard cannot offer.
