The Roland VAD516 E-Drum Set Acoustic design combines the traditional appearance of an acoustic drum kit with the versatility and precision of a modern e-drum kit. With its full-size wooden shells, high-quality digital pads and the powerful V51 sound module, it offers the perfect combination of classic stage presence and innovative technology. Equipped with digital components such as the PD-14DSX snare, the VH-14D hihat and the CY-18DR ride cymbal, it offers an extremely precise response and the finest dynamic control. Position sensors and touch muting capture every detail of the performance, from the light ghost note to the powerful rimshot. The KD-20-MS full-size bass drum with real wood shell provides a realistic playing feel, while the Toms of the PDA series with mesh heads offer a natural rebound behavior.
Professional sound design with the V51 module
At its heart is the V51 sound module, which is based on the same sound engine as the top-of-the-range V71 model. It offers over 1,000 sounds, 200 kits and extensive editing options for each pad, including layer EQ, compressor and transient control. With Bluetooth audio, USB-C multi-channel audio/MIDI and SD recording, the Set can be seamlessly integrated into studio or live setups. Thanks to wireless app integration, you can manage kits, adjust effects and load new sounds directly from the Roland Cloud.
