  • Sonarworks supported or Sonarworks custom calibrated headphones (not included)
  • 2.0 or 2.1 stereo speaker system
  • Audio interface with +48V phantom power and 44.1 kHz sample rate
  • XLR to XLR audio cable
  • SoundID Reference measurement microphone or an omnidirectional measurement microphone with XLR connection

Sonarworks SoundID Reference Speaker & Headphones software is designed to calibrate studio speakers and over 280 supported headphone models from various manufacturers. Whether used as a standalone app or as a DAW plugin, it optimizes the frequency image to achieve a linear sound and thus assists the user in mixing. After using it and based on neutral sounding speakers, it is easier to make critical decisions in the mix that would otherwise only be possible after a lot of experience and comparison. SoundID Reference Speakers & Headphones deliver clear, consistent linear sound wherever you work.

In less than 20 minutes, you can calibrate any type of studio monitor using software, a measurement microphone (from Sonarworks or a third-party omnidirectional measurement microphone), and an interface (not included).
