With a dynamic range of up to 123 dB, THD+N values below -110 dB and extremely low crosstalk, it is the perfect link between digital production and analog gear - from synthesizers to outboard EQs.

Maximum flexibility in the studio

Whether as a USB interface or AD/DA converter via ADAT or S/PDIF - the ALPHA 8 adapts to your setup. The routing options are easy to configure and enable hybrid signal paths. You can flexibly mix, optimize and simultaneously record or play back analogue, digital and USB signals.

Analog & digital at the highest level

Each of the eight analog inputs and outputs can be operated individually at +9, +18, +20 or +24 dBu - ideal for a wide range of outboard equipment. The DC-coupled outputs also allow control voltage (CV) to be sent directly to modular systems or CV-capable effects.

The perfect extension for SSL 18

With one or two ALPHA 8s, the SSL 18 interface can be instantly expanded to 8 or 16 inputs/outputs - perfect for integrating analog preamps, mixers or FX devices via ADAT.
