Classic T-Style Construction
For the construction of the Sandberg California DC Sandberg relies on the classic T-style ingredients. Accordingly, the body is made of lightweight alder, while the maple neck is quad-bolted and features a maple fingerboard. This traditional construction promises a crisp fundamental sound with that legendary twang that makes itself heard perfectly in the densest of band mixes. The slim "C" profile is also extremely comfortable in the hand, so that every lick or riff goes easily from the hand.

The electrical tone conversion of the DC MN Black Hardcore Aged is done by two Sandberg Vintage Power Single-Coils. As the name suggests, the classic single-coil pickups deliver a powerful sound with a distinct vintage character, whose lively twang is always audible. A special feature is the optional series connection of both pickups, which is activated in the middle position of the blade switch via the push/pull switch in the tone control and delivers an extremely fat but still transparent and assertive sound.
Kluson Lockheads with Top-Locking function guarantee a stable and exact tuning of the Sandberg California DC.
