Die fröhliche Violine is a child-friendly teaching book for playful and varied violin lessons. With her method, the author Renate Bruce-Weber, independent violin teacher and violinist, focuses on the fun of learning, which should motivate the young violinists and encourage them to continue. The teaching style is didactically cleverly adapted to the age of the learners on an ongoing basis. In order to introduce the pupils to different musical styles, the book contains a wide selection of pieces from classical and folk music. Along the way, additional interesting facts about the music and its composers are conveyed.
The online audio file provides support for practicing and encourages singing along, which makes learning unfamiliar pieces easier and stimulates the children's imagination.
