The MKE 600 from Sennheiser is an excellent choice when it comes to microphones for video cameras and is characterized by its particularly strong directivity.

Directivity

The MKE 600 picks up sound from the direction of the camera, effectively and absolutely reliably blocking out interference and background noise. Wind and low-frequency noise can also be reduced by means of a switchable low-cut filter.

Power supply

To ensure smooth operation with video cameras, the MKE 600 can be supplied with power either via the usual phantom power or via a battery (type AA). An on/off switch for the power supply ensures that the battery does not discharge prematurely; "Low Batt" is displayed.
