Palisono, a moisture resistant fiberglass material. The sixteen individually tuned bars form a C major scale with a range from c1 to a2. Using the included f sharp 1, b flat 1, and f sharp 2 tone plates, additional scales such as F major or G major can also be created. The extra sound plates can be stored directly inside the resonance box, which is accessible via a practical side flap. This space saving design concept is applied throughout the entire instrument. The sides feature integrated mounts for the fold out feet, allowing multiple mallet instruments to be stacked securely without slipping or placing stress on the sound plates. A pair of Sonor SCH23 felt mallets is included.
