The Tama TGHS1465S-SNT STAR Reserve Snare is a limited edition model featuring a particularly robust mahogany shell. Crafted from 11 plies of 9 mm thick G-Mahogany, the shell delivers a warm, full-bodied tone, enriched by the deep, resonant character typical of thicker shell constructions. To preserve the open and resonant qualities of the mahogany, 2.3 mm thick flanged steel hoops are used, supporting a long, sustaining sound. Visually, the snare is distinguished by its Tineo outer layer, a wood with a natural reddish-brown hue and striking vertical grain, giving the drum a unique and elegant appearance.
