Another highlight of the thoroughly successful Grand Auditorium model is the body made of East Indian rosewood, which perfectly complements the overall sound with its clear note. The even grain of the opened tone wood with its light and dark color gradients gives the instrument a noble and symmetrical appearance, which is further emphasized by a very thin varnish. The body is delimited by a koa backstrip and a corresponding purfling, which creates a tasteful transition to the other components of the body.
