Sinker Redwood and Honduras rosewood

The solid sinker redwood top gives the Taylor Builder's Edition 914ce Next Generation an almost attack and a warm, open basic character. The solid Honduras rosewood back and sides provide powerful basses, brilliant trebles and an impressive tonal depth. Supported by scalloped V-Class bracing, the result is a balanced, sustain-rich sound with clear projection that brings out the best in both fingerstyle and strumming.

Armrest and cutaway

The model also impresses across the board in terms of playability. The cutaway allows effortless access to the high positions, while the ergonomically shaped armrest ensures a particularly comfortable playing feel. The Action Control Neck also allows precise adjustment of the string action. Together with the mahogany neck and the fine ebony fingerboard, this results in extremely comfortable playability that supports fast runs as well as fluid chord changes.

In-house Claria pickup

The Taylor Claria pickup system is a modern in-house development by the manufacturer and combines precise piezo technology with a clearly structured preamplifier. This allows important sound parameters to be set quickly and easily. The controls are positioned inconspicuously in the sound hole so that they are easily accessible at all times without detracting from the elegant appearance of the guitar. In this way, the system combines discreet integration with convenient and practical control of the amplified sound.
