The Vicoustic Multifuser Wood 64 MKII Black Matte is a diffuser designed for spaces where depth, openness, and energy must be preserved. In listening rooms, control rooms, and larger studios in particular, it ensures that sound remains lively and evenly distributed rather than dampened. Instead of absorbing reflections, it disperses them in a controlled way. The result is a room that feels more spacious, delivers greater clarity, and retains a natural sense of musicality.

More depth with quadruple diffusion

Unlike the smaller version, the Multifuser Wood 64 MKII features four rotatable diffuser modules. The increased structural depth ensures exceptionally even, omnidirectional sound dispersion and extends performance further into the midrange. Voices, acoustic instruments, and spatial detail gain stability and precision without sacrificing their natural character.

Diffusion instead of absorption

This model is purpose-built for diffusion. Rather than reducing the room’s energy, the Multifuser Wood 64 MKII redistributes it more effectively. The result is improved localization, greater depth within the stereo image, and reduced standing reflections on walls and ceilings. It is an ideal complement to absorbers or hybrid panels when a room needs to sound both balanced and lively.

Black matte for modern studios and listening spaces

The Black Matte version is crafted from lacquered MDF combined with plywood. Its understated matte finish delivers a clean, contemporary aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into dark studio environments or high-end listening rooms. The distinctive 3D surface remains visually striking without overwhelming the space. Here, acoustic performance and design work in harmony.

Flexible wall and ceiling installation

The Vicoustic Multifuser Wood 64 MKII is suitable for both wall and ceiling applications. VicFix J profiles are included for straightforward, secure wall mounting. For ceiling installation, the VicFix Suspension Profile (sold separately) is required. This flexibility allows the diffuser to be positioned exactly where it will have the greatest acoustic impact.

Acoustic control for demanding spaces

Measuring 595 × 595 × 143 mm and weighing 17.55 kg, the Multifuser Wood 64 MKII has the mass and depth required for effective diffusion in larger rooms. An NRC rating of 0.35 reflects its diffusion-focused design rather than sound absorption.
