An ultra-accurate replica of the legendary Foxx Tone Machine from 1971, Foxy Tone Box uses genuine NOS components in the form of original 2N3565 Fairchild transistors and Germanium transistors to give the fuzz its distinctive sound. The control elements also follow the model and consist of a volume control for the overall volume, a sustain control for the intensity of the fuzz effect and a fuzz-Mellow-Brite knob that serves as tone control and determines the sound character continuously from warm and dark to bright and clear. In addition, the activated Octave Switch adds an extra higher octave to the signal to create a true wall of fuzz when used with the volume and sustain controls turned up.
