Notes summed up precisely
With Skopje, XAOC Devices is expanding its product range to include a CV quantiser with two independent channels. The module features precise AD/DA converters, which measure the incoming voltages and output them in a modified form. A quantiser is always required when a CV sequencer needs to output accurate notes. Conversely, it can also be used very creatively, for example by shaping a rising and falling staircase from an LFO with a triangular waveform, or by defining the progression of an envelope as a note source. Skopje is fully editable and compatible with microtonal scales. Its native data format is essentially the same as TXT files, and the module can also load scales in SCALA format. Navigation through the menu settings is very intuitive and requires only a few steps. Skopje loads and saves everything via the MicroSD card. Up to 100 banks, each containing up to 100 scales, are available! Each channel on Skopje can be calibrated to a specific VCO to ensure perfect tracking. Other functions include: glide, scale switching via trigger or CV, and transposition (including unquantised transposition for vibrato).
